This week's topic for Illustration Friday is blanket. My brain did a little happy dance when I saw that... is there anything that I like to paint more than blankets and quilts? Not really! After wading through a lot of blanket images, I finally settled on this little guy for my entry.
A big thanks to Holly from decor8 for posting a really kind review of yours truly on her fabulous blog on Friday. The response that I got from it was really overwhelming and wonderful, and I have my dear, loving and talented friend Wendy to thank for it.
In other news, I've ordered four new images (including the one pictured above..) to be turned into limited edition prints, and they should be arriving sometime next week. I'll be sure to keep you posted about that.

I just added five new prints to my etsy store, including the one pictured above.
For those of you who didn't make it to the SCBWI conference this last weekend in NYC, check out the amazing live blogging that Leeza (fellow illustrator from the soup) did while she was attending. I was so happy about by her amazing information blast, I really felt like I was there!
Next week I'm going to have a mini painting sale! There are about twenty mini paintings that I will be putting up that haven't seen the light of day. This will be the last of mini paintings for awhile, so feel free to sign up for my mailing list if you would like to receive an email before the sale begins.
