Hello my deep fried doughnut friends,
I am in the middle of slogging away at many tedious things right now, (like making up words like, slogging) So, here are some fun facts to get my mind off of my taxes and other slogtastic activities that are planned for today...
*You can now get Hanner tunes online..at itunes and all of those kinds of places. Don’t be afraid of the very funny “explicit” warning labels next to each song. They make you put those there if you have a naughty word in even ONE of the songs. Weird. Anyhow, I’m not that badass...
*I really am getting ready for a painting show at Last Exit in Brooklyn. I know I’ve been saying that for awhile, but this time it’s true! Honest. More details to follow as soon as I know..
*The painting on the welcome page of the sunset and the tree house, has sold and has been shipped off already. I haven’t had time to add it to my artwork page, but I just wanted to clear that up for the folks that have been emailing about it. Sorry! New paintings are in the works, I promise.
*Kimya Dawson has a new record out called Remember That I Love You. I Like Giants, is my new favorite song, and she’s touring! Fantastico.
Felicity is amazing doing her string performance project, (pictured above.) We had a very yummy dinner together this weekend at Clark Lewis. Yum.
*Gabe from Eaglekin performed last night, and it was mind-melding. His songs will blow your socks off. I especially love In The Plebelands. Brilliant.
Some Brooklyn friends are in this hilarious video called COPSTORY, that I watched about a thousand times this weekend. This episode starts off as a cop show, and goes into a mockumentary type thing. So, so good. There are naughty words in there, so watch out!

Happy Monday! Hope you are all having a good one...
I just posted this new painting on my welcome page, and I thought that I would share it here as well.
I have parties and hoopla on the brain right now. Partly because it's getting to be springtime, and I'm ready for some fun outside time...but mostly because Gabe and I are getting married!
It's pretty exciting for us...lots of wedding type things to think about. Like...what are we going to wear? What kind of vows do we want to say? Should we ride into the ceremony on winged unicorns? How much would it cost to find winged unicorns? Would it be cheaper to go with plain old unicorns?
And how exactly, are we going to coax the band into a tree?
Decisions, decisions....

Happy Monday! I just posted some new mini paintings in my etsy store, after a long mini vacation from mini paintings. Well, it wasn't a vacation exactly..I've been hard at work on a few exciting things that I can't wait to share with you.

Hello friends. Hope you had a great weekend...here is a sketch from a story I’ve been working on.
I’ve decided to post something each day this week, to see how that goes. I wonder if I can really squeeze out that much from my day to day life..we shall see. I'm hoping it might make me paint a little more this week, if I have some accountability. Ha!
