Another sleeping person painting....
Well friends, it’s August already. Can you believe it?
On the 15th of August, I’m going to go on vacation for the rest of the summer. (Gabe and I are getting married and going on a lovely honeymoon.) Yipee!
There are a lot of extremely awesome art things happening in my little world in the fall, so I thought that this week would be a good time for a BIG BIG art sale!
Wednesday, August 8th, I will be putting all of the paintings that I have currently in my etsy store on sale, along with some new ones too that I’m finishing up. I want to clear out as much as possible from my studio and brain for a fresh start in September.

I've been busy finishing up my first draft of the Secret Circus dummy. It's so interesting to me to watch how a sketch transforms as I get more and more lost in the lives of the little characters. I had forgotten just how much I loved miniature things when I was a kid. Like the grasshopper that slept in a matchbox, or the The Little that used a peanut for a baby rattle. Ahhh....those tiny details are the best.
