aging August 02, 2005
This week’s Illustration Friday is a picture of my great aunt Margo and my late, great uncle Louis. It seems like the hardest part about aging, is living on, when those you loved the most, aren’t here anymore.

This illo rings so true, such a true and yet peaceful take on the topic. As always I love your style. :)

although you touched a very sad side of the topic, your picture is full of warmth and hope. it's because of aunt Margo's peaceful face and her bicycle, which tells me, life still goes on. it's a great ability, if you're able to let go.
I really like your drawing-style and the way you focussed the theme. gonna be here more often.

This is a tender and sweet illustration. I'm not sure I'd have "gotten" it without your caption, though. I especially like the Aunt's pose.
